| Profile Jazz Moods Hot Club Trio play sophisticated café jazz - music made famous by the Quintet Of The Hot Club Of France in the 30's and 40's, which featured jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli and guitarist Django Reinhardt. This style is still very popular and Hot Club Trio's recent credits include playing at the film premier for "Chocolat", which featured Johnny Depp playing a Django composition " Minor Swing". The violin-led trio also includes guitar and double bass. Individually, the trio has played with top names in jazz and other artists including Bryan Ferry, Ralph McTell, Nigel Kennedy and Phil Collins. The trio's repertoire includes the music of Duke Ellington, Cole Porter & George Gershwin as well as famous continental pieces.
