What to expect
When should I book the band?
Aim to book your musicians at least 6 months in advance of your event.
The most experienced bands will be filling their diaries 8 - 12 months
ahead. If your event is on a Saturday, don't leave it too long or
your choice will be limited.
How do I make a booking?
In the first instance, telephone one of our representatives to discuss
your event and requirements. Jazz Moods staff are professional and
experienced and will be able to offer help and advice to ensure your
event is a success. Once you have selected a band/artist Jazz Moods
will add your details to our database and send you the performance
details, a pricing estimate, an audio sample, any available promotional
material for your selected band and a booking form. You should receive
these within 48 hours. The booking form and deposit should be returned
to Jazz Moods to secure the band for your event within seven days
to avoid disappointment. On receipt of the booking confirmation, Jazz
Moods sends the information and a contract to the selected band(s)
which completes the booking process. Any changes to the performance
details should be advised immediately so that the band can accommodate
Can I book more than one band for an event?
Many people do. Our experienced staff can offer help in selecting
bands for particular events. We have experience of providing music
for most itineraries.
How far will they travel?
Most of our bands are based around London and the Midlands
and many will travel to anywhere in the UK as long as expenses are
included. For bookings where an overnight stay is required, accommodation
expenses will be added to their fees.
